(Colômbia - Colombia)
EMILIANO QUINTERO - A.K.A El Emisor is a VJ based in Bogotá with over eight years' experience in the electronic music scene. His work explores the expressive possibilities of real-time video, treating the digital image as a medium with its own identity. His visual approach focuses on revealing the materiality of video, bringing to the fore elements such as the pixel, compression and other qualities that are usually concealed in contemporary audiovisual production. Through this exploration, he develops a visual language that engages with the energy and depth of electronic music, creating immersive experiences where image and sound enhance one another. He has taken part in festivals such as Baum Festival, Doom Festival and Kaputt Festival Futuro, as well as collaborating with various artists from the Colombian electronic music scene. He is currently the resident VJ at Kinder Club in Bogotá, where he continues to explore the possibilities of live audiovisual performance and to consolidate a practice that combines experimentation, improvisation and a constant exploration of digital aesthetics..

Synopsis
INTRO 01 was created as an introduction to 89 Birds, which opens the concert as a space for listening, contemplation and reflection. Gradually, sounds, rhythms and textures evoke the presence of a living landscape, where the natural and the musical begin to merge. Against this soundscape, texts emerge that put the extraordinary richness of Colombia's biodiversity into perspective and pose a fundamental question: what would you do if you knew there were only 89 birds left in the world? The question serves as a call to recognise the fragility of our surroundings and the value of preserving the life we share.
The piece emerges as a sonic image of flight: multiple voices transformed into layers of synthesised sounds that appear, intersect and disappear, like a flock in motion. 89 Birds thus offers a journey between the organic and the abstract, where every sound, every image and every presence seems to form part of a single organism in constant transformation.
