JOANNA WLASZYN, iis a Polish-French interdisciplinary artist and researcher who lives and works in Paris. Her works fuse visual language with a conceptual experiment in order to create a new kind of hybrid aesthetic.

Her artistic practice incorporates both traditional and new media through digital art, interactive and multimedia pieces focusing on technological evolution, and constantly evolving post-digital culture. By working with 3D, AR, digitally generated images, video, prints, and installations to explore how technology challenges our perception of nowadays reality. Rather than distorting reality, Wlaszyn attempts to create alternative interpretations that are accessible to all. Coming from an architectural background, Joanna Wlaszyn holds a doctorate in the Critical Theory of Architecture from the University Paris-Est. She has published numerous scientific publications exploring the impact of digital technologies on the visual arts. Her work has been the subject of international exhibitions in museums, galleries, and art festivals: The Wrong Biennial IN ABSENTIA Pavillion, CICA Museum in South Korea, Athens Digital Arts Festival ADAF in Greece, Artifact Exhibition at the International Art and Design Biennial in Saint- Étienne, LACADA Center in Los Angeles, ADNEC National Exhibition Centre, Abu Dhabi, the ON-OFF gallery in Paris and Untitled Space Gallery in New York, among others.
